With an outstanding background as a nature artist, Felix Flandez have obtained his watercolor painting diploma from ICS Scranton Pennsylvania USA and his bachelor of science in architecture from La Consola cion College Bacolod - School of Fine Arts and

Architecture.

 

To Felix, art and watercolor paintings have been more than a way of life rather than a profession. For this reason, he may not have seen Art as a career, but more as a way of expressing his appreciation and love for the beauty of nature.

 

He have done four solo art exhibitions in the late 80's and early 90's. A prolific and dynamic painter, Felix has a passionate commitment to portray the beauty in which we lives so that others may see and remember the beauty of nature in its infinite and grand wisdom, we could relate to the depth and mystery of the environment that surrounds us.

 

Felix draw his inspirations from many sources, the forest butterflies,kingfishers, different orchids, prestine island coves, mountain falling waters, wild flowers, floating waterlilies,  waves on the rocks, beach sunsets, field butterflies, tropical birds and more. To him , watercolorpainting is a way to celebrate the natural environment.
